The room was right after the renovation, clean and nice, the balcony to the bassin. The personnel was really helpful and sensible. The location of the hotel is very good, not far from promenade and the beach and in the calm place at the same time. The food was also good. I find the hotel the best for its charge.

We have just got back from a long weekend at the Balmes hotel, and we loved it!
The first day was a bit of a bad start as we were put in a twin room, after I explained to the receptionist (spoke perfect english) he showed that I did book a twin but moved us to a double room anyway....

This is not a Hotel but a youth Hostel, full of very rude and mostly ignorant Dutch Youngsters.
GHT Hotel group advertise this Hotel as Family orientated,well i dont know what sort of families consist of 50-100 teenagers.
