This is a nice hotel but a little over priced in our opinion and certainly in some areas not a 4 star. Their site looks wonderful and all in all we had a really nice holiday. Just returned from a great week at the vell mari with my family. We booked all inclusive which was great, the food was very fresh and lots of choice and a chef cooking in the restaurant with different dishes to choose from. Arrived on 19 Jul 2008. and not very happy with the 4 stars that this hotel/apartments has been given. This is a perfect spot if you intend to stay in your hotel, and not visit the town or the beach. The hotel has a nice architecture, and building 5 and 6 are the best. We have just returned from a weeks family Holiday at the Iberostar Vell Mari. We all had a great time, the hotel was excellent, all the staff are very friendly and give a great level of service. We had no expectations since originally we had booked a Greece destination which got cancelled and Tjareborg put us in Vell Mari of Mallorca instead.
