This is a splendid hotel - stunning. We had a Deluxe room (room 31) which was a huge corner room, quite neutral in decoration but very peaceful, I loved it. The bathroom was fantastic, huge! The Son Net is a lovely old Mallorcan 'finca' or mansion converted with care and taste to a perfect smallish hotel. Fabulous 30 m pool overlooking valley and mountains. Staff were all charming (although many not Spanish). The restaurant is dear but excellent and quite inspired. For cheaper food there are fun places in the little village down the hill.... more

i've stayed in the island's best hotel - ;a residencia, but frankly this is better. a lovely pool, beautifully laid out breakfasts and friendly and helpful staff. rooms superb, children welcome, romantic for couples. als not mentioned enough a short walk to the village with a nice selection of tavernas and bars to enjoy. excellent all in! more

Where do I start? OK we splashed out on this one and had high expectations. But this hotel is amazingly good - albeit amazingly expensive. Great room (lucky us - we were upgraded to a massive suite); fantastic breakfasts; faultless service; Michelin-starred restaurant and deservedly so; I could have lain by the pool forever. Spent 3 nights here in April and could have stayed for 30 if the credi card had extended that far.Having stayed at Mardival I was looking for similar standard if not price and this blows the Mardival sideways .
