Hotel Oberoy has recently been refurbed and the hotel does have some nice fixtures and fittings..however some parts of the hotel suffer as a result...especially the food. You expect at a 4 star hotel to have good food as this is a very important part of your holiday but far from it unless you like liver,snails,rabbit and other laughable food... More

Just returned from a short break to this hotel and would echo the comments of the previous reviewer. The communal areas of the hotel are lovely. There is a spacious bar area, restaurant, terrace and a large pool area with plenty of loungers. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. Spotlessly clean. The service is faultess.... The roc oberoy has just reopened after being closed for two years. Do not take any notice of older reviews. returned today 19th April 2012 what a fantastic reception we got at the roc oberoy. The staff were all very helpful nothing but nothing was too much trouble, the hotel director came and introduced herself and was available the majority... More
