We had not visited since 2000 when the hotel was owned by Richard Branson. We were interested to see how things might have changed under the ownership of Orient Express. We were not disappointed. I read several reviews here before booking La Residencia and most are pretty accurate. We generally enjoyed our holiday, but as others mention, there are things to be aware of.
