Bit late with this review it does apply to 2008, went in August and it was rammed - played sunbed dominos all week ie when one bed moved they all moved usual get up 4 hours before you go to bed to get a place but hey thats the fun of package holidays right. Food at the pool bar ok... more

Went to Cala D'or about 15 years ago and stayed in the playa apts. Thought it was very family orientated. Took my kids 11 & 8 in Aug 09 & we all had a ball. Apts were clean, comfortable but basic. Clean towels every day. AC is a must. Don't bother with safety deposit box - bags were lying around... more

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Playa Apts in July 2009 with our 2 young boys having been moved down from Alcudia. There was no complaint about our move but we had to pay £90 taxi fare ourselves. We have just gotten back from Cala D'or and had a wonderful time. The apartments were great - lovely swimming pool and splash pool for the kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. within easy access to the resort, very clean apartments air con fantastic 35 euro a week, we had it on all day as it was 32 degrees outside. nice food at the pool bar and prices about what it they are in the UK. I would recommend familes to take their groceries with them as i did as the supermarkets... more

just home last week from these apartments , had a fantastic time. the location is great within walking distance from everything , and yet not noisey at night. the apartment had everything needed for your holiday clean with huge balconeys and great maid service. we got the air con as it was very hot but was well worth the money.... more
