Wonderful: site, view, room. It is the best accomodation I ever had in Europa. When we saw the house, about one km nearer than our GPS indication, it looks unbelievable for the price.Our room in the garden with a quiet pool was perfect. And the view from the dining room was unforgettable.

After getting very lost driving all over the Douro Valley, frustrated & tired, raining & cranky, we finally arrived about 8:00pm to this wonderful house. The Casa sits on a hillside overlooking hills covered with terraces of vineyards. We were able to enjoy this view from the terrace outside of our spacious room as well as from the dining room. Three nights in Chanceleiros was great - the house (rather than a hotel) has a family feel, with a big kitchen an a livingroom as the center of action.
