As part of an independant cycling tour we stayed at Hotel Tiferno in Citta di Castello, Umbria, for two nights in September 2011. It is well situated near shops, restaurants, Information centre, Bus terminal, etc, the room was tastefully decorated, clean and very spacious, it had the old world feeling but with all the modern amenities.

We enjoyed a one week stay at the Hotel Tiferno while on a group tour. The staff made us feel welcome, recommended good restaurants, spoke good English, and always smiled.
There is no restaurant on premises although a continental breakfast is served. Excellent restaurants were only steps away.
