This property was allegedly the Summer compound of a Palermo bishop. The views across the valley are beautiful and of the city of Piazza Armerina on the hill across the way. Rooms are dispersed among a few buildings. There is a beautiful terrace that overlooks the valley where they serve meals when the weather is nice. There is a nice... More

Stayed here at this agritourismo hotel near the Villa Romana de Casale archaeology site. Rooms spread out amongst several out buildings, but very nicely apportioned. We had a very nice dinner in their restaurant and the breakfast buffet was very nice as well. Not sure about the price of the room as we stayed here as part of a tour.... More

We arrived mid afternoon and went to reception where there was noone and so we wondered around trying to find someone. Eventually I heard a TV and knocked on a door, where a woman opened and said not a word. We had had only friendly pleasant Sicialians up to this point and were surprised. She pointed to a door and... Located outside of town. Isolated. Friendly staff, eager to please. Outstanding room and bathroom. Big, clean, great views of the city. Excellent linens and mattress. Could not ask for more. Only drawback: dogs barking at night. Wear your earplugs. This is an outstanding hotel.

We stayed here one night in late April 2009. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view of Piazza Armerina. The inn is set on a hill overlooking the town, so in terms of location, it may not be convenient to sightseeing on foot, but the setting is fantastic. The staff was super friendly, and the dinner we had... More

The hotel is outside of town in the country, and you do need a car to get there. We had a room that overlooked the town with awesome views. The food served here was excellent and the whole atmosphere was peaceful. There is a pool and our room did have a tv with satellite feed. The pool had maintenance problems,... More

I stayed here with a tour group - you definitely need a car otherwise! It was a good base for visiting the Villa Casale (although that was partially closed for restoration) and for a visit to Piazza Armerina, which is a reasonably interesting small town, but there’s nothing to do at the agriturismo unless the pool is open. My room... More

Having read several other TripAdvisor reviews, we were worried about finding this place. Don't know how anyone could miss it, there are dozens of signs. As stated by another traveler, just proceed towards Villa Casale, and you can't miss them. Yes, it's out in the countryside, but that's a lot of the charm. Lovely pool area, great spot for weddings... More

This azienda turistica was very hard to find, as there are too few signposts. A gentle Sicilian had to show the way by driving in front of us. The website is not informative enough and the address is obscure. And, in the end, it's easy to find, just follow the signs to the worldfamous roman Villa Casale.. The azienda is... More
