My husband and I stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast outside of Rome and were treated like family. What could be better?! Things we loved: -Romantic accommodations is an understatement. Our room was large, painted red, with an extremely comfortable bed. Truly perfect for the vacationing couple. -Breakfast! Wendy is an amazing cook, make sure to tell her if... More

The view is breathtaking; the self catered apartment is not. The photos don't tell the real story. The second bedroom is shared with the living and dining space and must be walked through to get to the third bedroom and the small kitchen which is also the laundry room. The third bedroom is windowless and dark. Be prepared to furnish... More

Our family of four loved our stay at this beautiful B and B. Wendy prepared delicious gourmet breakfasts for us so that we had a perfect start to our sight seeing days in Rome. We did not have a car so we were kindly taken to the train station for a quick trip into the heart of Rome. Wendy helped... More

My husband and I went back and forth on where to stay in Rome. A close friend of his is Italian and visits his family in Italy yearly. He highly recommended that we stay in Rome so that the city would be on our doorstep. I, on the other hand, wanted that "Under the Tuscan Sun" experience. Therefore, I wanted... More

It's a beautiful place to stay, the house is perfect! The family styled restaurants in Riano are amazing. Definitely go to Ristorante... will become your family in an instance. The distance is not as stated, you have to take the train/metro to get there it takes 40 MINS! This particular train's last ride is at 10PM so you can't really... More

We encourage guests to look at the Location page on our website prior to booking. Flavor of Italy is close to Rome’s historic center (St. Peter's Dome is visible from our property), yet is located in a gorgeous country setting. For young people looking for an active night life, our bed and breakfast may not be the right accommodation choice.... More

We arrived after 17 hours of travel and were greeted by Wendy we were very tierd so told Wendy we would have a nap and be up for dinner. We woke around 5:30pm and went up stairs for Happy Hour at 6:00pm. Only no one was home the lights were out and the doors were locked. We kept checking about... More

Flavor of Italy is a small, family owned and operated establishment that prides itself on top customer service and maintaining a beautiful facility. We feel that the guest’s review does not accurately reflect our establishment and would like to address their comments. • The guests were displeased that they weren’t told that Italian restaurants open at 8 pm and that... My husband and I (along with our 11 month old daughter) took a cooking class with Wendy in August in her home, we had such a wonderful time! We were staying in Rome, so jumped on the Metro and met her at the Cipro station. From there she took us to a wonderful cheese and prosciutto shop where we sampled... More

I recently spent five days at Flavor of Italy B&B with my three kids. Wendy and Mo couldn't have been more gracious, caring or helpful! To start with, we arrived with my brother, his wife, and their two kids, who were going to spend a night in a hotel near FCO airport, as they were leaving the next day. Wendy... More

Flavor of Italy stands out from the crowd.......Wendy's approach to customer service is the best I have ever experienced. We truely felt like part of her family. She took the time to make sure we had train reservations (even drove us to the station) to Florence, had a great recommendation on a quaint hotel in Tuscany (we changed our original... More
