I stayed here for two nights while touring Italy with my high school's choir, and let me start off by saying it would be hard for a hotel to screw up while being in such a beautiful location and this place did not disappoint!
The hotel is very pretty and quaint but you can tell it’s an old building, especially...

My family (husband, mum and 2 young children) stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Nazionale in September 2011. The two rooms we had were spotlessly clean and lovely. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed helping ourselves to soft-boiled eggs, cereals, toast, fruit, tea and coffee etc and then sitting outside in the garden. What a great...

Levanto was the highlight of our three week self guided tour of Italy, with Hotel Nazionale a wonderful place to stay. The hotel staff were kind, and provided quality information on local restaurants and transport options. Our only negative of our entire tour in Italy was the fine we received after jumping on the wrong train (Intercity train instead of...

Have just returned from a nightmare in Levanto where we got caught up in the floods. We were basically stranded after the motorway suffered a massive land slide and the trains stopped running. Hotel staff, Police and tourist information were terrible. Hotel staff failed to tell us that a boat was taking stranded people out of Levanto to La Spezia,...

What a pity that this gentleman and this lady, who happened to be in our area when the terrible October flood struck us found time and mood to drop a nice note...for our hotel and DID NOT realize that the area was involved in a real tragedy. The most horrible confusion dominated everybody and everything. For days nobody knew what...

The hotel actually...

Our group of 39 have just spend a most memorable week at the Hotel Nazionale, Levanto. The Famiglia Cinollo were most friendly, helpful and did their best to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Some of the rooms are a little quirky as they are set in the attic but they are a good size and the beautiful roof terrace...

We decided to stay just outside of Cinque Terre because we had a car and needed parking. I'm so glad we found this hotel! The staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly! We parked in their garage for an additional fee every night but it was so worth it. The garage is locked up and you must leave your key...

This hotel has it all. It's a perfect location, right in the center of town. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. Levanto is the gateway to the Cinque Terre and is very easy to explore using the train, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The Hotel Nazionale...
