We loved this quaint little B+B. The people who run this place are amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. We were glad to find WiFi, in our room. Thank you De Groote Waere for a great stay!

nice and clean rooms, very friendly owner, good breakfast. Very peaceful and quiet environment. The beds were quite hard for me, so i didn't sleep very well, but the rest: perfect. I would come again

We had a very good time in the Groote Waere. The room looked brand new with nice and comfortable furniture and nice bathroom. Breakfast is very good and the owners are very friendly. The hotel is located on a busy local road outside Diksmuide, so it is best to visit by bike or car and not by foot.

My husband and I spent five days at De Groote Waere and can't wait to return, it's 'simply the best'. Renate has created a beautiful place to stay and we were so pleased to have found it. Peaceful and relaxing and very close to Ieper and the WW1 battlefields, also only half an hour from the beautiful coast at Niewpoort.... More

This is a really beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is exceptional and very good value. Everything is of the highest quality and the hosts are very friendly. Just one thing, which has been mentioned in other reviews, is that there are no large bath towels. So we took our own. Otherwise, can't fault the place.
