This place is a great value and is charming. It's only about 3 blocks walk from the central park. It's very much in the Central American style with the rooms arranged around 3 courtyards. It's clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. The breakfats is good - OJ, coffee, toast, gallo pinto, fried platains, and fresh fruit. My room... more

We loved our stay at this hotel. It is a no frills hotel that is clean and comfortable. They have a decent breakfast that is usually included. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are about a 5 mins walk from the central park where all the action is. I would highly recommend this hotel. more

I have to say we loved this hotel. The price was low and the room was big. More than anything I loved the shower and the water pressure coming out of it. I didn't want to get out. i read other reviews on how the music from the party was too loud. The funny thing is we were there at... more

Thursday night went well, but on Friday evening I was horrified to come back to the hotel and find a disco party in the rear courtyard near the entrance to my room. The music was blaring so loud the walls in my room were shaking....I could not even hear my TV when I turned it all the way up as... more

We had some of those parties once a month, but stopped that allover in May this year. No more loud evenings or disco evenings at all. The garden bar is exclusively for guests with low volume music, if so. It closes at 10pm. You can enjoy quietness and tranquility every day.

Hotel Kekoldi gave our room away to someone without a reservation who presumably slipped the desk clerk a couple hundred cordobas! I booked with a credit card and had a confirmation - yet when we arrived they claimed they had sent another email asking again for me to confirm (yeah, right) and that it was not their problem that I... more

The credit card was never billed. We don´t do that ever at the moment of reservation, always and only at check out. Credit card information is needed to guarantee only and no charge is being made. The guest requested a reservation, because the system didn´t show it available. An email was returned to confirm the availability, but no answer was...

I would not recommend this hotel, for being one of the "better" hotels they didnt even have water when I checked in nor did anyone at the front desk even inform us of this at the time we checked into the hotel. After going to the room, finding out their is no water, we asked the front desk and they... more

Unfortunately there were power cuts and water cuts all over the country in 2007. All Granada was affected, too. Now in 2008 no more power cuts at all and no water cuts. If they happen, it doesn´t take long and is for maintenance reasons or accidents etc. We have now a power plant to supply the hotel and always have...

Beautiful 12 room hotel that offers clean, private baths with hot water, A/C, queen size beds and cable TV. From the moment I arrived at Hotel Kekoldi, it exceeded my expectations. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (of which a few speak some English), the pretty surroundings with its outdoor patio/garden, the pristine rooms, the outdoor bar, the plentiful... more

We stayed at Kikoldi in May 2006 I can only say good things about this clean, quiet hotel in the old part of Granada. We had stayed a few nights at Don Alfredo (from the guidebook) which was the same price and Alfredo was great for telling us which restaurants, but then couldn't take the heat anymore, switched for the... more
