The handsome architecture complete with lion fountain in the pool, an open courtyard dining area hanging with colorful bougainvillea and inhabited by lively parrots, and rooms replete with charm and beauty make Casa aesthetically pleasing. Add to that the wonderful staff, patient and helpful with our Spanish language practice, the delicious breakfasts, and the lovely nooks tucked all around perfect... more

Extremely friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms, a fabulous restaurant, quiet location, what else could we ask for? My boyfriend and I made Casa San Francisco our base while in Granada. The staff was very helpful with helping us plan our day trips and excursions. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who makes Granada a destination. But, we must... more

This was my 3rd time at Casa San Francisco. Stayed in Room 2. As usual the services were tremendous. Maria is still great. A lot of the same staff is still there. The breakfast was also great, especially the coffee, bread and jam. My only reservation was the room itself. It has no hot water, just one spigot with lukewarm... more

This hotel is located on Calle Corral (one block north of Calle El Arsenal) in Granada, Nicaragua, within walking distance of the central plaza. The price we paid was US$71 per night, although it may be possible to get a promotional price of 2 nights for US$99 on weekdays in the low season. The promotional price made the hotel well... more

As first-time visitors to Nicaragua we did not exactly know what to expect, but our stay in Casa San Francisco, Granada exceeded our imagination. The location is very convenient, one can explore the city on foot, get to banks, shops, restaurants. Yet, it is quiet at night, which is important. The hotel has a beautiful lush tropical garden, including some... more

Lovely little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has wonderful food. Recommended tours were excellent. The location is close to the centre of town so it's easy to walk and explore. Loved the colonial/Spanish style. Beautifully reconstructed with lots of interesting touches. more

Once again, Casa Hotel San Francisco has lived up to our earlier experiences as a mecca for travelers. This small, near botique restored Colonial building, filled with light sprinkled courtyards, is a place for respite from the heat, from the noise of the town and for sharing experiences and making friends with both the owners and staff and travelers from... more

A couple of the girls in the main reception staff speak perfect english. They are usually around during the day and are super helpful. The cleaning staff were the nicest of the bunch and clearly very trustworthy -- one morning I left $40 cash (an average week's pay in Nicaragua) on the bedside table that I meant to take with... more

We used the hotel annex as a base for travelling around Nicaragua, and loved it so much that we spent more time than planned in Granada. The hotel is very professionaly run by a well motivated and genuinely friendly staff. It has a very relaxed and homely atmosphere and is very well located just off the main area of town.... more

We had a wonderful stay at Casa San Francisco. Staff was fabulous! So helpful with everything we needed from planning out trip around the rest of the country or what to do that evening. Rooms were clean and decorated with a latin american feel. Hearty breakfast was included ate you could eat in the charming courtyard or on the rooftop... more
