No television, no blaring music, no bright lights ... seem dull? Wrong. It is one of the most exciting places you could visit. Camp RapidFire is situated on the banks of the mighty river Ganga. However as it passes by the camp, it is still the playful, impetuous child of the mountains, not the mature and steady giant of the plains. Camp RapidFire is a riverside beach camp, which means it is situated on a large tract of white sand on the river banks. Of course you can spend the day sunning yourself on the beach and fall asleep listening to the melodious lullaby of the river. Of course this stretch of the river with its playful rapids and mischievous eddies is also one of the most popular white water rafting stretches in the country. There is no electricity. We prefer it like that, and so do our clients. As the sun sets the kerosene lanterns dot the stretch of the camp, each one an island of warm cheer. Many of our clients prefer not to use even flashlights outside the tents. The stars, resplendent in their isolation from interfering city lights, are usually bright enough to see by on a clear night.

It was indeed a good experience spending the time at the camp. The staff we re very courteous and helpful.Dinner buffet was surprisingly vast and delicious. When I am mentioning delicious, it means out of this world! Really didn't expect much from a camp but they managed to surprise us. I specially devoured in the chicken. Breakfast was ok. Rafting was well managed and real fun! Great job done. Will definitely go back.

This is a camp beside the river with very basic amenities. The stay includes stay meals and rafting, but you will have to pay for a one-way cab service to the rafting point extra. The site very far (around 3hours) from Rishikesh. It is around 20kms from Devprayag. Also, the road after Devprayag is very bad and almost rocky without any railings throughout. The included rafting route is very calm. If you are expecting adventure, you will be disappointed, however, the route will give you ample chances to jump in the river without fear. The food is good and the tents were descent. There are no permanent toilets or bathrooms. You might get sand inside if there it is windy.

It used to be a rough one but now it is a comfortable camp by the name "banyan by the bank " . Well what we had expected was a camp beside the river with very basic amenities but it turned out to be a luxurious stay by the river . The camp includes stay meals and rafting . It previously used to be at the place it says but since camping was banned its new site is 25km ahead of Dev-Prayag!!! The rafting included a calm and serene route but we want some adventure so we chose to raft on a different one - with three blind mice and cross-fire rapids . The guy charged us extra for this different route .

serene surroundings, clean river, staying at tents is a memorable experience, we went in group, so enjoyed a lot. mobile phone connectivity is a problem. the rafting experience is awesome (adventurous, thrilling and a bit scary). we were at level 1.

One of the best camps in Rishikesh. The staff was courteous and all the arrangements were perfect. The campsite is not too crowded and apart from our group there was only one other group and the family that owns the camp, so it was very peaceful. Overall we had a great experience!

Usually people are very concerned about the security/hygiene/food in camps but let me assure you this place would be far above your expectations. The food is of great taste and they don't compromise in variety (thanks to the great cook). The view is awesome, cold river water flowing in between the mountains and we just lie down on the white sand watching the sky full of stars (even shooting stars). The rafting guides are very funny and they will just become your friends in few minutes. Normally people stay for 1 night but I would suggest that a long stay is a must if the weather condition is favorable. Luckily during our stay we got a chance to interact with the owners of the camp (well the conversation lasted couple of hours), great guys who are themselves travellers. They think the way we think and try to make this place as great as it can be (considering all the constraints). We had minor feedback and they accepted it upfront. I would definitely love to visit it again. Thanks Rapidfire and team for a memorable stay. (Mr. Titu (owner) sorry for providing this feedback so late and all the very best for your new hotel)

Camp RapidFire is one such place where the name itself thrills you in the first place ! Rishikesh already is Heaven and if you stay at RapidFire , then it's like a golden spoon in your mouth . Talking about the local volunteers there, Sanju Sir....the best person ! His instructions, his friendliness, his jokes, his personal experiences and stories ...all so good. It's a treat to listen to him , to watch him raft , to infacf have him there with you ! Naresh Sir , an awesome Kayaker! So much fun to Kayak with him. All the volunteers make you so comfortable and enjoy to the fullest. The food is very delicious and you almost do not miss your 'hometown meals':p The tents give you a superb feeling of fun camping. Walking on the sands , waking up to the fresh breeze over the cold Ganga waters and all the arrangements for you at the camp are amazing ! It's literally a beautiful place to stay at and make a wonderful compilation of memories that shall never be forgotten ! Tru :)

I have been to many campsites before but this was the best campsite that I ever laid my eyes on. It is located at the perfect spot right on the banks of river Ganga. It is peaceful and quiet there, away from all the traffic and noise. We felt like spending the rest of our lives there. The tent accomodation is the best I have seen. you sleep of right under the stars near the cool river. the perfect adventure feeling. the staff there is the best and management is brilliant. The food we had there was so amazing that we did not miss home food at all. everyday there was a different menu. the staff makes sure you are comfortably living there and they will help out with any problems you have. Sanju sir and Naresh Sir are the best people you can talk with. they will give all the necessary safety instructions before rafting. The mount of fun we had while rafting is all because of them. it was the best experience we all had. the campsite is structured in such a way that it becomes your perfect holiday destination. the blue water, the white sand..we never wore slippers there! This is the best campsite I have ever stayed in. I would recommend everyone to go stay at this campsite atleast once! We felt so at home there with sanju sir and naresh sir that the day we weere leaving, we had tears in our eyes!
