We ended our Rishikesh holiday with the Rainforest house and we couldn't have asked for a better place to say goodbye to Rishikesh from. Here's what we got out of our stay at the Rainforest house - happiness, serenity, sounds of nature, divine food, great people and joy! Here's what we missed - nothing! This place is a short distance... More

We were looking for a quiet place to relax in away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi and Rainforest House was the perfect answer. The rooms are simple and done up tastefully. Everything worked. The staff are courteous and Steve and Tripti are lovely to talk to. Our room was right next to a little stream which was amazingly... More

We stayed in the more expensive corner room which was simply but tastefully decorated, light, with a good view of the river and the sound of the waterfall. Everything worked - AC, hot water etc and the generator kicked in when necessary. There are also pleasant views from the dining area and in general this is a nice place to... More

I stayed here with my children in April and we didn't want to leave - the natural beauty and calm were a refreshing change from the noise and air pollution of Rishikesh downriver. The children played for hours in the soothing stream and cascades alongside the guest house and down to the river, and I sat there every morning for... More

Spent three days here with my girlfriend, and the only bad thing is that we had to leave. The staff was friendly, helpful and modest. Clean, simple and nice rooms with hot water and a confortable bed. Mosquito ned might be a good idea. The common area was pretty, they served good food, and soothing music was playing in the... More

The Hotel is clean and the service I excellent - but the location is mindblowing. A few steps away from your room and you're sitting on a quiet rock in the holiest river in India. I came here straight from Delhi and it was the most relaxing introduction to India I could have asked for. More

Was attending a yoga retreat at an Ashram in Rishikesh, and staying here was certainly the highlight of the accommodations. As well, it was nice to wake up in peace and quiet. I love this place! The food was great (albeit expensive for India standards), but it was very well prepared and tasty. Hotel is located next to a waterfall,... More
