Booked this room at the last minute for my sisters graduation at nearby James Madison University. Felt lucky to secure a room considering I didn't make the reservation a year in advance as is normally necessary for graduation weekend in Harrisonburg. So at the time, I didn't care about the $250 price tag and reserved the room online. Will start... More

We had stayed here before and I remembered how nice the room was. This time, the room was dingy and smelled. And well away from the parking lot. When Ii asked for a dolly, I was told the Microhotel next door had stolen it and i could go steal it back Then we discovered nothing worked. Not the tv remote.... More

It took me forever to find the office to check in. The clerk was pleasant. The room was marginal. The bolt lock would not lock completely, and the curtains would not completely block the view from the outside. The paint job and popcorn ceiling was clearly done to cover up damage from behind. They said the rooms were renovated, but... More

This property is typical for a motel. The pros: The room was clean and quiet and included a microwave and small fridge. Beds were okay--a little hard. The free breakfast was better than average--offered biscuits and gravy, fruit cocktail, cereal, cake and bagels. Staff was very friendly. Free wireless internet that was fairly fast. Cons: The ac/heating system is the... More

We stayed here because of a group rate we received for a cattle auction. The hotel was ok at best. The check in was very confusing for the two girls. We paid cash for our room and used a credit card for "damages". They charged my card plus got paid cash for the room. They were not very polite or... More

This is one of our regular stops and continues to be one of the best properties on our annual trip to Florida. The rooms are ver comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and the free breakfast has everything you need to get started on a new day after a very restful night's sleep. More

I have stayed at the Ramada in Harrisonburg on two seperate ocassions and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and have the little extras that you appreciate. The breakfast was included and they had a nice variety of things, warm and cold, including fruit and yogurt. The location is convenient to I-81 and... More

The previous reviewer must have been having a bad day or is just used to luxury or expensive hotels. My first impression, of the room I was staying in, was that it had been newly renovated probably within the past year or two. Furniture and bathroom fixtures appeared to be fairly new and certainly in good condition. The outside does... More

Bad plumbing, noisy heating/cooling, lumpy pillows, lots of road noise. Out of the way location, actually behind another hotel. Bad breakfast, worse coffee. Never again. More

We styed here for one night while visiting relatives. The room and bath were adequate sizes and very clean. The free breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. We also appreciated that our dog was welcome. More
