We stayed at the Budget Inn on a last minute getaway for a Nascar Race. The race was in Martinsville, VA but all hotels there were sold out. We booked this 2 nights before the race. I am so glad i didn't take my family here. The mattresses had huge holes in the side of them...no kidding! This was a major hole in the wall motel. Do not , I repeat, DO NOT stay here, especially if you ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. You can hear everything that happens here in the other rooms. The springs were popping everytime I rolled over. It is in a very commercialized area. The steps going up to the office were held with duct tape. Our keys were handed to us through a bullet proof glass. And once we arrived at our room, the door was unlocked. You'd be better off sleeping in your vehicle. I stayed here April, 2005.
