The floors in this place are GROSS, it looks like no one ever shampoos or cleans the carpets! We were highly displeased with our stay here due to the unkempt rooms. Let me put it this way our feet were BLACK after walking barefoot around our room for just a few minutes YUCK!!!!!

If you have small children please do not stay at this motel. The room conditions are deplorable! There is mold everywhere. Walls are falling apart due to water damage. The pictures they post are staged!

Good location right on the beach with Potomac River views. Very quite. Good rooms and everything worked. Quiet. Helpful, friendly staff. We flew into Washington that day and wanted somewhere nearby that would be easy and comfortable. That's exactly what it was!

The Days Inn is in a very slow and under-financed renovation. I think the owners keep hoping they can either convert it to condos or sell it. It's obvious they don't care about their guests as they employ under-educated, insolent employees and have sub-standard maintenance and cleanliness.
There are other places to stay---Doc's Motor Court is really charming as is...
