We contracted with the Clifton for a luncheon that included many out of town guests, and then fairly late in to the process were booted because of "doublebooking." For such a small venue and staff this is laughable, and if not laughable, then sad. The way we were "unbooked" was to say the least, unprofessional. more

We just returned from our third weekend stay at the Clifton Inn. As usual, we found the staff wonderful, the rooms cozy, and the food delicious. I especially love the (included) breakfasts! Welcome was great; staff very friendly and incredibly helpful. Apple fritters for breakfast - the memory still makes my mouth water! Grounds great for walking in and plenty of interesting things to do in the area. Hope to be able to fit another visit in.! more
