It is very close to UVA Hospital. The complementary breakfast smelled good but it was in such a small space I was unable to squeeze in between the crowd to get anything. Pretty easy walking distance to UVA (the Rotunda is about 5 blocks or so) and to Downtown and Downtown Mall area (about 8 blocks). Amtrak station is about 3 bloacks away. This is a typical Hampton Inn right on Main Street in Charlottesville. Great location for walking to good restaurants and shopping on the little mall down the street (3/4 mile). The staff was very courteous and helpful. More

This hotel is near UVA. It is very quiet even though it is on a busy road, near railroad tracks and a hospital. The double beds were too small for my husband and me to sleep comfortably in one bed. More
