Liked: Hotel is close (a few minutes drive) to VA Tech, the room/suite is quite large with a desk and small eating/working table, it was clean and the bed was comfy. I'm a frequent traveler and have stayed in many hotels. Never have I experienced a bigger nightmare than I did here. Stayed ONE night for business, awoke to hundreds of blistering sores all over my body. Doctor confirmed it was bedbugs. Had to throw away my nice Tumi luggage for fear it too was contaminated. The Hawthorn Suites is easy to get to and is a short drive to shopping and restaurants. Our room was good sized with a sofa, frig, microwave, bar sink and flat screen tv .
