We rented a condo at Battleground sight unseen on recommendation of real estate agent. Our unit smelled of mold and animals, was furnished with chintzy furniture and had an overlook from second to first floor that was an invitation for a small child to fall to his/her death. The promised playground was a couple of ancient, rusting structures. After one night we moved to the Claybrook Inn at Sugarbush which was the antithesis: modern, clean and well-kept. more
