Was at Liftline midweek, so it was quiet. Could see it being partish on weekends. Going back in a few days if that says anything. Good place to go with the guys, would not bring my wife and kids.

Cheap, close to lifts and town but seriously dated. Walls and floors are paper-thin so be prepared to be in on your neighbors' conversations and if you are an early-to-bed type, bring along your earplugs.
Clean, warm- what you'd expect of an old budget ski hotel.

some of the mattresses here are terrible, but some are okay - bring a sleeping pad if you have space. close and convenient and cheap, and while halls look like a college dorm rooms are ok and generally clean. I have stayed twice, Lodge#3, upstairs was okay, Lodge#1 upstairs had a terrible mattress. Definitely better than driving in snow if...

Came with about 10 friends, all in our mid 20s for New Years and stayed for two nights. It was just what we needed - no frills, cheap, and clean. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not your place, but if you are with a few friends (or a girlfriend/wife who not the complaining type...if...

The Liftline has been around for ages and I've been staying at the place for the past 10 years. If you're a Paris Hilton, posh type go somewhere else. This place is a complete dive, is totally dated, but is the ideal place to stay if you're a true ski/snowboard junkie who just needs a hot shower and place to...

This place is pretty hilarious. As the awesome guy at Stratton said very honestly over the phone, "It's not gonna impress your girlfriend or your mom." If you're doing a quick trip with a friend/brother or someone who is really only interested in a cheap place to stay, you're golden. But this is not resort living. I went for a...

I booked this place via expedia, but I didn't know I was booking "Liftline Lodge", instead it showed up as "Stratton Mtn Resort" -- there's your first clue. If the hotel is $75/night and it stays Stratton Mtn Resort, you're likely going to be staying at the liftline lodge.
Basically the resort has a bunch of different lodging and they...

We found the hotel on hotline and because it was foliage there were no options in the area under $250.00 so I decided at Stratton Resort can't be too bad. How wrong I was - The outside of the building is truely getto, paint peeling, weeds all over, carpet on the interior outer area filthy and torn. Well that was...

My husband and I were in Stratton Mountain to visit our daughter at her camp. We didn't want to spend a lot of money since we weren't going to spend a lot of time in the room and it was just a quick visit. So we saw these rooms were $79 a night and booked it. But wow! Even a...
