This is a 'value' hotel. Very old looking, and that's not in a nice way. It was clean, just looked out dated. Would be very hesitant to pay more than I did. Year end special price included lift tickets, although the snow was almost gone when we were there. More upset at the marketing depatment for mis-leading information on the... More

Just returned from a three night stay at Stratton Mountain Inn and was very pleased with my stay. Firstly, the location is a five minute walk to the village and a couple minutes longer to the base lodge lifts. The shuttle service to the village runs regularly, and never had to wait more than a couple minutes. The room we... More

basic, comfortable accommodations. The place is old. Did a lift and stay combination. Check-in was fast and effortless. There is a restaurant and bar which is nice if you are tired after skiing and don't want to go out. The complementary breakfast lacked protein, perhaps important for skiers and boarders. Hot tub was nice. Bring earplugs, but that's because your... More

We stayed here as part of a bus trip. The hotel served our purpose. It was clean and had a nice lobby/bar area. The decor and furniture was a bit aged but who cares. We spent most of the time skiing or in the village. They provided an ok continental breakfast (not hot food) and the lobby area was nice... More

We are staying at the Inn for President's Weekend. Like other reviewers have said, the in is old and needs updating. Our room, at more than $300 per night, has A big chunk of the wall broken off. There is peeling paint and stains on the ceiling, and the bathroom wallpaper has mold all along the ceiling. When the heat... More

After reading the bad reviews, I was apprehensive about booking this hotel. The building is old and corridor carpets are in bad shape (it is a ski lodge and gets ski boot traffic). The room was fine. the carpet was new, furniture nice, beds were comfortable. the bathroom was dated but clean. The Lobby/Lounge is filled with comfortable leather furniture... More

I agree with tedley7 about the creaky rooms, decent mattress on our king side bed but not so good pillows. It seems like you want to be on the top floor so people below you hear your footsteps and not the other way around. Add to this there's not enough drawer/shelf space. There are no hand sized towels either. None... More

Our room was as clean as could be expected for an Inn that seems to have not been updated in 20 years or so. Location to the lifts and village was pretty good, $250/night seems way out of line with what you would find for that price at other ski resorts. Breakfast was no where near sufficient to supply a... Our family ( two adults and a child) just returned from the a 2 night stay at the Inn at Stratton Mountain. We actually stayed in the Lifline Lodge, which is a part of the Inn, but in a separate building. We booked a room on a short notice over the phone. There were no room avail in the Inn... More

My wife and I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Inn at Stratton Mountain. We really only needed a place to sleep and that is what we got. The furniture was in very poor shape, but I suppose many guests are hard on it. The TV was a nice flat screen. There was no radio, refrigerator or... More
