Just came back from a vacation.. stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. The unit appeared very much updated...new carpeting, tile, living room, etc.... since our stay years ago which was pleasant as well. The resort staff are so pleasant and there's always a phone number you can call if you ever need assistance...never had a problem with any followups from... More

We were 2 families each with 2 adults in their early 30's and one 19 month old each. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit that was located on the 4th floor. We have read several reviews about the lack of elevators and I will confirm that there are no elevators and a lot of steps, which we had expected... More

These are rental-by-owner condos so I can imagine that some units are better than others. We stayed in A102. Let's let the details speak for themselves. When we checked in, we were given one key and a promise to deliver two more which of course never materialized. When we entered the condo, we found: Cheap carpeting covering a lumpy uneven... More

This is such a great place to stay in Stowe. Not only does it have the convenience of being on the main street of town (Mountainside Road), you can also enjoy a large indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room. You can easily take the Stowe Mountain Shuttle & yes, for free to get around town and of course... More

The best thing about the Mountainside Resort is its location. The property is about halfway between Main Street and the ski area on the top of Mountain Road. There are many nearby restaurants, ranging from low-key, budget friendly (Rusty Nail, Piecasso) to more upscale fine-dining. We stayed in a two bedroom that was located across from the building containing the... More

Its delightful to stay in here, its a little old and it doesnt have an elevator but its ok. I specially enjoyed the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Its 10 mins away from Main st. and points of interest. Definitely coming back. More

Where do I start? We rented a 3-bedroom unit, and paid about $300/night. We weren't expecting the Taj Mahal, but didn't want Calcutta, either. We were on the third floor, and there is no elevator - so beware if you have a bad back, a lot of luggage or a baby buggy. We entered the unit. As we looked around... More

We are truly sorry that these guests experienced such a disappointing stay. When we are made aware of problems, we do our best to resolve them right away. We are also happy to move guests when we have a similar unit available. We have staff on duty after the office closes and our guest book details the number to contact... More

We rented a three-bedroom unit. The bedrooms are the tiniest I've seen. Just enough room for an adult to squeeze around the king bed in one room or queen in the second. No room except in the closet for suitcases. (There was enough shelving for clothing, though.) The mattresses were awful. Our bed was so hard we could only tolerate... More

We are sorry to learn that these guests were very disappointed. We feel our unit descriptions are accurate and we certainly do not wish to disappoint guests. If we had been made aware of the items that proved to be disappointing, our staff would have done everything possible to alleviate the concerns of these guests. We encourage guests to let... More

Stayed here for 3 days in Nov. Off season and snow on the mountains. The buildings are kind of dated, but they were getting a re-skinning while we were there. The condo we stayed in (K103 I believe-154535) was a 2 bdr mountain view with a huge balcony. Not fancy, but clean and homey. Very well equipped for the casual... More

This old place needs TLC. The ice maker doesn't work and the provided ice cube trays are old and stick. Bathroom doors don't completely close, shelves wobble. There is hole in the kitchen counter top. The pull-out bed is uncomfortable and ends inches from the heater. The water tastes awful - we had to haul bottles in to make coffee,... More

Our resort is in the process of upgrades, and we are sorry that this guest found their exchange to be less than expected. We try to meet the expectations of our guests and respond immediately if they experience problems. We note on our RCI listing that some units have a number of steps and always make guests aware if they... More
