We stayed in the Mountain View condos for 6 nights just after Christmas. This was our first East Coast ski trip with our kids -- ages 11, 10 and 7. Several friends had recommended Smugglers' Notch as an easy ski vacation for families. For the most part, it met our expectations. Our condo was not ready when we arrived, despite... more

I was a bit worried about going to smugglers notch despite it being constantly voted best family ski destination as some of the tripadvisor reviews are quite negative, but we honestly couldnt have had a better first chrsitmas ski holiday together. We booked for 6 nights and stayed in Liftside (L10), we phoned the Smuggs helpline a few times before... more

Smuggs is a tremendous vacation for the whole family. We have three kids under the age of five. The kids summer camps are amazing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Our little one stayed at "treasures" which is the place that takes care of infants it's exceptional and one of a kind in its level of infant care. The are mulitple... more

Our unit was ok but not worth the nearly $4,000.00 for a one week stay in a 2 bedroom condo (not new) and floors were filthy upon arrival our 3 year old stepped on some small rocks near the fireplace. Later after vacuuming and performing some of our own "maid" service...We sat down to read thru 'Amerca's #1 Family Resort's'... more

Smugglers Notch was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and there are plenty of places to hike, swim and enjoy quiet, scenic places with your family, with your love one or just spending some time alone. We just loved it! My kids really enjoyed walking around the small creeks and finding some 'cool' rocks to collect or just to throw back into... more

This was our 2nd trip to Smuggs. We also went in June of 2008. We have 2 kids: 4 and 6. We love Smuggs because they have free camps for the kids. There are so many kids that participate that they are able to divide the kids by age. The camp staff is great, genuinely excited to be with the... more

We had a large, modern, well-maintained 3 BR unit. The grounds were impeccable and the resort had excellent facilities. There's lots to do in the vicinity, including great hiking and excellent restaurants. We highly recommend the resort. more

Upon receipt of the resort’s brochures and information obtained on their web site, we were initially very impressed with the extensive activities and amenities catering to families with young children. It was for this reason, that we booked a September get-a-way with the kids. We arrived on a Friday night and checked in as planned. The staff was informative, advising... more

We had a great time at Smuggler's Notch. We (two parents and a six-year-old boy) stayed for three nights and both my husband and son wanted to stay longer. They have so many programs and activities that we were on the go from 8:30 in the morning until 8:30 at night. We took part in nature hikes, played miniature golf,... more

We spent 6 nights here in July\Aug 2009 with our two kids (8 and 12). It’s probably the first family vaca where there wasn’t one bit of stress involved. No cramming four people into a little hotel room, no having to turn off the lights and TV at 9:00 so the kids could fall asleep, none of the usual inconveniences... more
