Just returned from a 4 night stay at Grey Gables. My girlfriend and I went for a small ski vacation in Vermont and chose this B&B after reading the reviews and reasonable price. We weren't disappointed. Tim and Deb were the best hosts ever. Such warm and friendly people. The breakfasts alone were worth the price of admission. Location was... More

My husband and I were thrilled with the Grey Gables! The house is an architectural wonder and Debbie and Tim (and of course Heinzie!!) could not have been better hosts. We loved our cozy, wonderful room, the view of the river across the street, the service, our bed, sitting on the porch with a glass of wine while looking at... More

We went for a week-long ski vacation. The rooms were elegant, and the service impeccable. The breakfasts were amazing--delicious food and more than you could eat and the paper on the table started the day off perfectly. (They were willing to package the muffins for a delicious lunch.) The one day there was over a foot of snow, there was... More

My boyfriend and I decided on making an spontaneous mid-week trip to Jay Peak during the Christmas holidays. The morning we decided to go, we called up Grey Gables Mansion and Debbie was super friendly and let us know that they had rooms available and we could come that very day with no problems. When we arrived much later than... More

I have stayed here three times, in three different rooms. I love this place. It is so convenient to NH, and Canada. Nice and quiet. Love Heinz. The breakfasts are awesome and keep you going long into the day. Tim and Debbie and super nice people. More

The Grey Gables was delightful. Tim and Debbie, the proprietors, were so helpful and welcoming, knowing just when to do every little thing. Our room in the front of the house was cozy and perfect for our visit to Northwestern Vermont. Our bed slept comfortably, and we had a private bath. For an old house, it was not drafty. We... More

The house was a sight for sore eyes the moment we arrived. Tim and Debbie gave us a wonderful welcome and their enthusiasm for their historic home is contagious! Our ski day at Jay turned out to be a bust of an icestorm, but this still made a great place to come back to no matter what howling weather came... More

What a wonderful place to stay. Grey Gables was a good base for our ski-trips to Jay-Peak, a 30 minute drive through a snowy winter wonderland. Delicious breakfasts, charming decor, gorgeous mansion, comfy bed, incredible hospitality and friendliness from the owners Debbie and Tim. Highly recommended. More

My sister and I have just returned from a 4-day stay at the Grey Gables Mansion. What a wonderful experience! When we arrived at the Mansion we were warmly welcomed by Tim, Debbie and Heinzie (the resident tail wagger). From the moment we stepped into the Mansion we felt comfortable and relaxed. The Mansion is very beautiful. You can just... More
