Look people, the price is what it is for a reason. If you are looking for an inexpensive ski trip with breakfast it's fine to stay here. The beds are not that comfortable and its true, things are a little old but for a family who is looking to save it's fine. I probably would not stay in the summer... More

On our way up to Stowe, Vermont recently, my husband and I stopped at Johnny Seesaw's for dinner. We had been there several years earlier and really enjoyed the cozy, rustic feel of this place. Again, dinner was very good. We started out with drinks at the bar and, between the warmth of the fireplace, the entertainment of the two-man... More

We stayed at Johnny's on the recommendation of friends who live nearby. It's very rustic with a great historic atmosphere and pleasant staff - yet the accommodations are way over-priced for what you get. Our cabin room had absolutely no amenities - from the small things like not a single box of Kleenex, to the somewhat larger ones, like no... More

We have stayed there many times in the last few years, both in the lodge and in the cabins. The rustic atmosphere can't be beat. The food is amazing, the scenery is wonderful, and the lodging is excellent. The rooms and cabins all have a cozy feeling that our family loves. The staff always takes very good care of us... More

After reading some of the recent reviews I was a little hesistant to return there. My wife and I and our family had spent several enjoyable weekends there over the years but not within the past 10 years. I am happy to say that it was again a good choice. THis is not a 5 star place, it is a... More

If you are looking for that throwback, Vermont ski area experience, Johnny Seesaw's is it. It's a rustic, kitschy place, but it seems to be intentional -- the owners are extremely friendly, traveled people who have lived in big cities. They seem to want to provide an authentically friendly, warm experience. If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is... More

Definitely recommend a drink at the bar or dining in the restaurant. Really wish they would invest in a renovation of the lodging. The rooms have moved from quaint to rundown and the price hasn't followed. There is also an unusual gratuity charge of 25 bucks tacked onto the room rate that isn't quoted. No clue what services that could... More

We've stayed at Johnny Seesaw's only 8 or 10 times so far, 3 to 5 days each. To say it's worth the 8+ hour drive is drastically understated; we love the rustic, authentic setting and the cottages are especially great because we bring our dogs. The lodge is as comfortable as one would ever hope to find. The chef is... More

My husband and I have spent many memorable days and nights at Johnny Seesaw's. Gary and his staff go out of their way to take care of their guests. Fabulous food! Loved the rustic atmosphere of the inn.....the warmth and ambience of the fireplace is comforting and romantic. A great family or quiet weekend away kind of place. The owner... More
