I am a Marriott guy but I like staying at the Plaza. Very very clean and is great change from the generic hotels. The steakhouse next door is very good and there is an olde movie theater directly across the street. Internet works well and they have plenty of parking outback. Very comfortable beds and quiet!

Yes, it is an older hotel, and really the ONLY full service hotel in the area. BUT, guest rooms surprisingly well appointed, including a very pretty vessel sink in a large bathroom. Comfortable bed. I found the room to be adequate, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Nothing fancy but really very good for an older hotel and not terribly expensive either. I would recommend staying there but not when the legislature is in session as it is right now...you have to listen to too many politicians and that is never very relaxing!
