A groups us stayed here over MLK weekend to ski at Stratton. The best part of the trip was the hospitality shown to us by Karen and her husband. What a great find this motel was! We took the family skiing for Friday and Saturday (Jan 27 and 28), and found the Stamford via TripAdvisor- stayed here Thurs-Sun. we have skiied stratton many times before and stayed on premises every time. This time we wanted something different. Finding top reviews on tripadvisor about the Stamford Motel, my family decided to try it. We could not have been happier on every level. We came to the Stamford Motel this past weekend to ski at Stratton. We had two rooms to accomodate the 7 of us and both were great. Very clean and charming! We have enjoyed being guests at the Stamford on two occasions. In a word, perfect. Great value, very cozy and comfortable, awesome hosts and now Nipper's the Cafe is open which served THE BEST breakfast ever....Highly recommend a weekend away at The Stamford. More

“Ski trip in Stratton”

We had an excellent experience while staying at the Stamford Motel during our ski trip to Stratton. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The restaurant had top notch food and the family that runs the Stamford Motel are lovely and friendly people. Would go there again! More
