The new owners couldnt be more friendly and accomodating. They have really spruced up the common room and the breakfasts they cook are delicious. They are in the process of changing the room decorations and the bathroom amenities are all "green" products. All new towels are in place also. The grounds are great to walk or hike on. There is... We had a wonderful time, it was a great deal especially considering the price! Nice trails behind the buildings, looks like it would be beautiful in the summer. More

The new owners are friendly but didn't provide as much information or guidance about local activities as we had hoped. There was a binder in our room with information prepared by the previous owners, but it all seemed to be about 5 years out of date. The beds, which were comfortable, weren't made each day, which seemed odd to us.... More

Joe and Jeffrey are incredibly nice hosts and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, while it is clean and nicely furnished, I found the room to be very small almost claustrophobic. The breakfast was nice, the quiche very tasty, and the common room is really cozy. The big minus of this place, in addition to the room size, is that... More

We loved our recent stay at Stone Boat. Joe and Jeffrey were great hosts, and chatted with us about the new ideas they have to make the B and B even better. The daily breakfast was delish, and just what we needed before heading to Stratton, which is down the road a few miles. My only issue was that it... More

A great spot to stay for a ski weekend in Vt. Convenient, clean and comfortable. Perfect breakfast, fabulous hosts. Can't wait to see what the new owners have in store for the place. More

We were grated by a real life Santa claus make personality. I would not be doing justice to Geoff if I described him as anything other than "a jolly good fellow".we started in the magic mountain room, it was clean, nice and really cozy.the TV was small outdated, but if you turne it on, you are definitely in the wrong... We (my boyfriend and I) just returned from our second stay at the Stone Boat Farm (this last for four nights). It's a lovely, relaxed little place run by a really sweet, genuine, helpful couple, Geoff and Christiane (Chris). I really don't know where to start! We stayed in the Magic Mountain room both times. It's cozy, with a very... More
