This B&B is located on a VERY BUSY street beside a university. (Earplugs come with each room, does that tell you something?) It gives the feeling of a hotel rather than a B&B. There are three floors and no elevator. The place appears to be run by college students. When making the reservation, we were not told that we could... more

This was your classic New England small hotel. The rooms are all beautiful (I sneaked a look at some of the others) and are all unique. The only negative was the fact that the in rrom TV is very small. The breakfasts here are fantastic, you can smell them as soon as you leave your room (in a good way!)... more

My wife and I came to Burlington to spend a couple of days biking around Lake Champlain, and chose the Lang House based on ratings here. It is the most centrally located B&B- a short walk from the pedestrian nightlife center of Burlington, but far enough a way to be quite. The hosts and staff were very friendly, the breakfast... more

The mainly young (graduate) staff were very friendly and attentive, but possibly lacked some service experience, not that this detracted from our stay. Lovely building and our room (Van Ness) was great, with a good sitting area with a view out to the lake. Breakfast was ordered off a short menu (not a buffet like usual), but was gorgeous (best... more

Our son got married and we booked most of the rooms in the Lang House for family and friends. Great location, excellent breakfasts, comfortable surroundings and all personnel were extremely helpful. We had several changes in the last two weeks and they found a way to accommodate all of our needs in a courteous and professional manner. We can't speak... more

We spent two nights here last weekend, meeting up with friends from Boston. It's a beautiful and well-maintained property with a wide selection of rooms and a price range that allows for both restraint and opulence. We chose the Vincent room tucked up under the eaves on the 3rd floor, and despite its cosiness it was more than enough space... more

We needed to book three rooms (for three couples) and we chose the "Garden Spa" which sounded lovely but was a cellar room, with high windows with shades necessary to keep closed for privacy. The airconditioner and a ceiling ventilating system were so noisy that we had to turn them off in order to get to sleep. The jacuzzi was... more

My husband and I stayed in the Garden room...a room with it's own separate entrance. I was worried about it being somewhat in the basement...but it was actually a very lovely room. The hot tub was clean and supplied with bubble baths and soaps. The room was very large, and fully equipped with a kitchenette...not that we needed it. Breakfast... more

Overall the Lang House was great. Breakfasts were Unbelievably good each morning we were there. They had two courses for breakfast. Usually the first course was a baked good and the the main course was either an egg option and a pancake/waffle option! I loved that there were two courses! We stayed in the Carriage House in the back and... more

My husband and I spent an overnight at the Lang House B&B and found it charming and convenient. It is located on Main Street and is a quick 3 block walk to the Church Street Marketplace area. The Inn is a turn of the century house with high ceilings, lots of oak trim and many windows. We stayed in the... more
