I stayed at the B&B in April, traveling to Lincoln for business. Issy is a spitfire, providing delightful conversation and a mean breakfast made to order. The room was comfortable, and the setting was beautiful. The location is off the beaten track, but only about 5 minutes from downtown. When I am asked to do more work in the area,... More

We have stayed at Firefly many, many times and have always found it a wonderful experience. It is a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the picturesque town of Lincoln, accessible to many of northern Vermont's attractive sites and activities. Issy's hospitality is great, and her breakfasts are truly outstanding. It is an ideal spot for a very comfortable stay. More

We stayed for the weekend in the cabin and enjoyed our trip immensely. Issy makes some killer breakfast. Cabin was very comfortable. The location is great, short drive to a wonderful hike up Mt. Abraham. Short drive into Bristol for some great food/drink at the Bobcat Cafe. All that for a very affordable price. Can't beat it! More

March 2012- We needed a getaway and decided what better time than spring to hike Mount Abraham. We found the cozy little cottage at Firefly B & B online several years ago and always kept it in the back of our minds that one day we would stay there. We have a dog that travels with us and it would... More

I enjoyed my two night stay and couldn't have had a better host. The accommodations are very relaxed and comfortable. If you are a hiker, the trail up Mt. Abraham begins a short ride away. Be sure to pick up some maple syrup from the Lincoln General Store before you leave. Issy makes a great breakfast that lasts until dinner... More

If you are looking for the best value near Sugarbush and Mad River Glen do not hesitate to call Firefly. Issy is a great hostess who helped us navigate around in an unfamiliar place. Firefly has everything you need in a bed and breakfast. A great location, a great atmosphere, and excellent breakfasts. More

My fiancee and I had a lovely weekend get-away at Issy's B&B. We chose the Romantic Get-Away package, which included an enormous basket of Vermont goodies, a bottle of wine, and dinner for two at a great (and locally popular) Bristol restaurant (Bobcat Cafe). We stayed in the little cabin out back and couldn't have been happier in our very... More

I was supposed to stay three days. I could tolerate the place only one. I found the innkeeper to be difficult and disagreeable. Although the website said the room was on the first floor, it was actually on the second floor, up a narrow staircase with an unstable hand rail. When I questioned this, the innkeeper said that was the... More

We love the Firefly B&B and go back there every summer, partly because of the warm hospitality of its owner, Issy Link. If you are looking for an anonymous Holiday Inn kind of place – this is not it! Issy treats her guests like treasured family members. Her home, the Firefly B&B is like a European Bed and Breakfast with... More

We have been staying regularly – at least six times - at Firefly B&B for years, Spring, Summer and Fall. This year we’re here for ten days restful vacation. We travel quite a bit and always try to find a friendly B&B or Inn rather than staying at a chain motel. Expensive, economical and in between - all kinds in... More
