My husband and I spent 5 days at the Lodge in April 2012. The staff was most gracious in particular they found some treasured earrings of mine and then when my husband had a serious allergic reaction, they acted promptly and even took us to an emergency clinic in the next town. Their care and concern was palpable. Once recovered... More

My husband and I enjoyed spending Easter weekend here. We agree with other reviewers: this is a classy, comfortable, very indulgent spot to unwind and enjoy this tranquil corner of the world. The original decor is beautiful and very tasteful - clearly a labor of love. Our room was charming and very comfortable, and the staff was helpful and very... More

We loved the lodge. It was our basecamp for exploring Capitol Reef. The southwestern decor is gorgeous. The room was quaint and very comfortable. The host was very warm and helpful. Breakfast (not included in price of room) was wonderful. Wished they had been open for dinner when we were there. We highly recommend this lovely inn! More

A very nice place. Pluses; service from staff, modern and clean room, lobby area is very nice, a truly beautiful lodge in the middle of nowhere. Minuses; breakfast should be included for the price, more expensive than some of local alternatives, furthest of all options in Torrey from Park entrance. More

When I researched the area, it was easy to see that this was the place to stay. There were some $35/night motel rooms, then there was this really beautiful old lodge with lots of character. It had a 3 story great room with Navajo rugs, big comfortable furniture, an old piano, huge fireplace, game tables, reading material, etc. The rooms were... More

We were visiting Southern Utah last winter, and were desperate about the absence of decent eating or sleeping options in the area until someone mentioned the Lodge. We were one of only 2 rooms occupied (it was a really cold February weekend), but they were delighted to be open for us and were really hospitable - even to the point... More

Lovely location, near Torrey. Very nicely decorated and friendly lodge. Room facing the river was perfect and the staff preparing and starting the fire in the fireplace at night made it even nicer. Pleasant dinner but unfortunately only available on weekends at this time of the year. The alternative in and around Torrey is depressing . the lodge is very... More

Lovely scenic location a short drive out of the town. Lovely room, very clean and immaculately presented. Gorgeous smellies in the bathroom. Ground floor garden was good to sit out in. Hot tub has fabulous views. Food menu tried one evening, good but limited for two nights. Reception were unable to provide info re horseriding in the area so did... More

WOW! We loved this lodge and hope to return someday. Tucked in front of red bluffs with an authentic western feel, the lodge is upscale with all the modern conveniences. We enjoyed every moment of our time... In the early morning sunlight and in late afternoon, we watched the buffalo, horses, and deer roam the grounds. Evenings in front of... More

We stayed three nights. The Lodge is run by a sister and brother whose father built the lodge. It has a classic exposed timber, two story main room, dining room and abut 15 uniquely shaped and decorated rooms. Our room was the Wildflower, a two room suite on the third floor with a view of the red rocks at sunrise.... More
