A sunny day provides exceptional views at Snowbird. The family (except Mom) are all Experts and Advanced skiiers. While there are areas that are more for average skiiers (like me), it would have been nice to have wider blue trails from the peak so as to provide more choice. The hard packed surface didn't help. Snowbird is a huge resort with steep drops and long runs. If you ski from the top of the tram all the way back down to the plaza, you start to get an idea of the size of the resort. Snowbird and Alta are the two best mountains to ski. You cant beat SLC for fly in/fly out ski experience. Airport is very easy to access and Salt Lake City and Park City are fantastic and favorably priced. Been coming to Utah to ski for 8 years plus now. More
