Wife and I stayed here overnight while visiting a friend from Salt Lake; it was spur of the moment, and we were quite happy with the value for what we paid. The rooms were nothing to write home about (which was fine), and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I needed 1-2 nights... More

I have been to Salt Lake a number of times and each time, stayed at a higher end hotel like a Sheraton or Hampton. Economics times being what they are, instead of paying 149-259 a night, I decided to investigate chainless hotels that are a bit away from city central. On the internet, I stumbled upon the Pavilion Inn in... More

We have stayed in many rooms in the area over a 10 year period and this is by far the best value for SLC we have found. When booked on line, you will get a good discount. Beds were very comfortable for two people with bad backs. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge, cable tv, and... More

I must have gotten an old room because it was outdated and the bed was old and uncomfortable. The pillow top had seen better days. The mattress pad and sheets did not fit and slid off with every turn. The beds were also very squeaky, the lighting poor (hard to read), the walls thin and the shower tile needed major... More

We really enjoyed all the extras this hotel offered. The pool and spa are open all night. Cookies and coffee are available in the lobby. Not only is the guest laundry complimentary but so are the detergent and fabric softener sheets. Breakfast is one of, if not the best, we have had in hotels. The room was very nice and... More

The Pavilion Inn is probably fine for a 1 or 2 night stay - but I was there 5 nights - long enough for minor annoyances to turn into nuisances. Pluses: good rate, easy access to I-15 yet quiet location, large clean room, comfortable bed, carpet looked new, good sized fridge and microwave (neither of these mentioned in the list... More

This was our first trip to the Salt Lake City area and we were happy with our stay at the Pavilion Inn. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of nice extras. They have a nice heated pool and whirlpool that is open 24 hours. A free hot breakfast is included every morning... More

Our ski vacation turned into a medical emergency. Family flown in and a couple of weeks of turmoil. One mile from the Med Ctr, the Pavilion turned out to be not just convenient, but a warm little stay that provided coffee, tea, cider and cookies in the afternoon, full, hot, unchanging breakfast, newspaper, Internet, parking and a cozy fireplace. Posh?... More

First of all, the staff at this hotel are very friendly. This is a smaller hotel with one staff member wearing three hats at once. I have to give them credit as we were treated very well. However, this is not a full three star hotel. More like a 2.5. So if you are used to hotels like Hyatt Place,... More

The room was nice, clean and quiet, with a great view of the mountains. Loved the 24 hour coffee. Would stay again. More
