Doesn't look like much from the road, definitely an older property, but the other choice in town did not allow pets - I was very pleasantly surprised by a warm and friendly greeting, very reasonable price and an excellent stay with clean and spacious room, new flat panel TV, high speed internet, plenty of hot water and a superb restaurant... My husband and I were on a cross-country motorcycle tour in May 2010, and decided to see Zion and Bryce Canyon. As it was the end of the day, we looked askance at this motel; it looked a bit seedy from the outside. HOWEVER, the price was right, so we decided to chance it. The room belied the outside by... We had reserved per telephone in the afternoon and room with 2 beds as we were travelling with our 2 daughters. We discovered that we were give a parental suite (without paying anything extra) with a large double sink bath. Everything was pleasant and very clean. We also appreciated that the corridor was also nicely decorated. Owner was very helpful... More

Just pass it by. We checked in for 2 nights stayed 1 hour and checked out. I should have known it would be nasty since there are very few reviews. Well, that is because no one stays there. My husband who never has allergies, actually suggested we move on. Something was definitely bothering him. Travel the 17 miles to Kanab... More

What a horror, this was our last stop from our road trip before heading home. First, no one at the reception (if you can call it that), so we walk to their restaurant, there we found two teen kids running the place and one of then about 16 years old went back and completed the check-in, as soon as we... We had to change our plans on the evening we opted to stay here as it was another 3 hours' driving to our booked hotel & I couldn't hack driving another 10 minutes so we saw this place on leaving Zion NP & they had a vacancy. What a nice surprise this place was.Clean, cosy & nice rooms, quiet even though it's... More

Ended up at the Golden Hills very late a night coming out of the Grand Canyon - could not find a room any place else in the area - almost drove past it. It is a small unassuming hotel but I was very surprised when I walked into a very neat and clean room with new mattresses, flat screen tv... More

Don't book this motel if you are travelling in winter months! We were in a room where the heat barely put out, and almost froze! Manager refused to allow us to change rooms. Also, bed was marginal in comfort. More

My wife and I arrived late after a long day of driving. Wanting nothing more than a shower and to climb into bed I found the shower did not work. We contacted the front desk and they said we could switch rooms, an inconvenience but no big deal. When I went to pick up the new room key I was... More

I remember you. You checked in at 11 pm, I rented you a room, and you came back a few minutes later saying that your showerhead had no water pressure. After locating a brand new showerhead, I ran to your room, made the repair, and you had a shower back by 11:30. During that time, you complained that you could... More

This privately owned motel lies close to Zion at Mt. Carmel Junction. You take the scenic route 9 that goes through a beautiful part of the park to reach the motel. The rooms are roomy and nicely decorated - not the standard motel-look, but more cozy with flowers and some paintings, and they are clean and quiet. The price is... More
