Hello travelers! Thank you for your recommendation and review. I am thrilled that you enjoyed the hotel and noticed that almost all our rooms have a spectacular view of mountains and the golf course. Best of luck on your continued travels in the US.

After visiting Zion, we spent the night at the Thunderbird hotel so we could continue on to Bryce Canyon the next day. We were very happy with our stay there! This is a single story hotel so we didn't have to deal with stairs or noise from upstairs neighbors. The room was huge and very comfortable. The hotel has an...

Thank you so much for your review. Reviews like yours make all our work enjoyable. I agree that our hotel is the perfect place to stay between visits to Zion and Bryce. We have 3 sections of the hotel and it sounds like you stayed in what we call the Golf Course units - which are indeed just one story....

No more than a roadside motel and quite basic (old facility). Although the room was clean, we did find the hotel and the pool a little dated. The room we had (2 queens) was spacious but the furniture was ugly. Forget the tv: only about 6 tv channels available. Front desk was friendly. In the middle of nowhere. Didn't met...

Thank you for your comment and I am sorry you ended up in one of the few rooms we have not yet remolded. I am thrilled however that the front desk staff was friendly. October is a rough time of year to visit our pool since it is outside and it's pretty cold here this time of year. If you...

We stayed here October 19-22, 2011 for our trip to Zion National Park. We originally booked for 2 nights and liked it so much we added a third night, which the front desk person Ben gave to us at our original booking rate. We had room #200, top floor by the stairs, two queens with a little balcony. The room...

Oh! An extended stay is the best compliment ever! Thank you so much!!! Since you plan a return visit you must eat at the Buffalo Bistro is Glendale - The Motto is it's Terrible, but they keep coming back. The food is outstanding - rattlesnake, buffalo and other SW delights! I will pass your comments on to my Hotel Staff...

We stayed here for 3 nights so that we could tour the area. It is in a great position for Zion and Bryce Canyon. We were given a good welcome. The rooms are clean and of a good size. We enjoyed a game of golf which was very cheap! The Thuderbird restaurant is great! Full of character with tasty reasonably...

You have the right idea! Staying on the East side of Zion National Park is deal for also seeing other nearby parks and monuments such as Bryce Canyon National Park. I am thrilled to hear the staff gave you a good welcome! Golf rates here are unheard of! I think its $6 for 9 holes. The Restaurant has developed some...

There are not many choices in this area if you cant stay inside the park or in Springdale. This was Ok for the night... A little high priced for what it is..but you are paying for the access to Zion National Park. Would try Springdale again before staying here again. We made these reservations in Jan 2011 for a stay...

Many of our visitors are also going to Bryce Canyon National Park which is 60 miles from us and some even venture to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon which is 85 miles away. If you do plan to visit these parks and even Cedar Breaks National Monument, we have an ideal location.
Thank you for your comment

Stayed for 2 nights in September 2011. The hotel is located at the intersection that leads directly to Zion National Park which was our daily destination. Other than one other restaurant that we did not eat at and a Subway restaurant nearby there is absolutely nowhere else to eat. The hotel has a detached reception office. Inside is a restaurant...

Thank you for you comment. We are on the east side of the park and perfectly situated for those who want to get away from traffic, lines and enjoy the quiet of southern Utah, but yes there are not a lot of restaurants or shopping here.

Recently remodeled old motor hotel style with large drive up rooms Located in remote area about 45miles east of Zion National Park. No free breakfast but restaurant is reasonably priced and good. Family-friendly nine-hole golf course adjacent to motel.

Oh no! We are 12 miles east of Zion National Park and 60 mile from Bryce Canyon. We are about 45 miles from Cedar Breaks however. Breakfast as of right now is not included, but it is not included in the price either. We will however be offering "free" breakfast in the near future. I am so glad you enjoyed...

This hotel cannot compare to the Best Western in Springdale. The rooms are large, but that is the best thing about it. The hotel and its grounds have little charm. The restaurant is chaos. I wanted to use the hot tub. Not only was it covered, but I couldn't find the control to turn it on, and no one at...

October is a crazy time of the year for us on the East side (5,200') of the park because of the change in weather. On this side of Zion we are at a much higher elevation than those on the South side (2,000') of the park is and therefore we alternate with cold and hot days in October. This is...

Hotel was a very good choice for our trip to Zion and Bryce....It's located at the junction of 9 and 89 in Mt Carmel and is very close to Kanab if you want a little variety for dinner (although their own restaurant with the 'ho-made' pies made a great breakfast). The rooms are basic and the lighting not great, but...

Yes, October the air is getting brisk which is so enjoyable in it's own way. Here on the east side of the park, that air is so clean and the skies are so dark - sometimes I feel like we are one of the last places on earth that are free of heavy light, sound and air pollution. I am...
