Can't believe the positive reviews of this place. If our room was supposed to have been recently renovated, I'd have hated to stayed there before. Very disappointing. The whole town of Monticello should be avoided at all costs if you can. And after reading that the owner's son owns the MD Cook House that they recommended, it explains some things.... more

Just passing through this place was a delight. Good prices, clean rooms, friendly staff. The restaurant next to it (PJs I believe) was really good. more

Decent little downtown motel. The room was clean and well appointed but the TV was not working as the Satellite connection needed rebooting (that's what the screen said anyway), the airconditioner (wall unit) was hard to control (too warm or too cold) and the ice machine was not working in the morning when I wanted ice for the days travels.... more
