We had a wonderful stay at the Rainbow Country B&B. Catherine and Clark made us feel like we were visiting friends! It was very clean, the breakfasts were wonderful, and they were very accommodating. Catherine let us use her kitchen to make lunches. It was a very restful time. We met some very interesting people, too, and learned a lot... More

Catherine was a gracious and very accomodating host, and she made us an excellent breakfast in the morning. Both the house and our room were very cozy, with beautiful views from the room and outside in all directions. We found the location extremely convenient to Grand Staircase/Escalante. The beds were very comfortable, and it was quiet at night (except for... More

After a long day's hike in Grand Staircase-Escalante and Petrified Forest state park, it was heartwarming to be welcomed to Catharine’s house, even though we never met. The room is cozy and clean, with private bath across the hall, the breakfast was delicious, and our hostess is so knowledgeable about all the trails around Escalante area. With very reasonable rate,... More

I stayed one night in the Desert Garden room and was extremely satisfied with my stay. The room and accompanying bathroom across the hall were both very clean. Breakfast was good, and Katherine the owner goes out of her way to be helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Escalante.

We stayed at the Rainbow Bed and Breakfast on our way to Bryce. Catherine is a wonderful host and is helpful to recommend day hikes. Our room was quiet and we enjoyed the sitting on the deck at night. Would definately stay again.

enjoyed the hostess. treated fair and well. breakfast is not superb, but fine. coffee is watery. a very nice place. large community area. open late. couple moved from Spanish fork. room is small for a family. no place to write emails. other than this, it is a good place especially if you want some help from the host.

We stayed three nights in the middle of November. Catherine is a wonderful host, full of information and recommendations about history and places to see. And she is always cheerful and helpful. Our room was quiet, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The guest lounge is a perfect place to relax after a day of touring the beautiful countryside. The breakfasts... More

We had a great two-night stay at Rainbow Country Bed & Breakfast. Catherine welcomed us at the front door and showed us to our room downstairs. We stayed in the "Horizon Room" with our two children, ages 11 & 13. The room wasn't fancy, but everything was VERY clean and in good working order. Also, the room was big enough... More

A true old-fashioned bed and breakfast where you actually stay in the hosts home. Catherine was wonderful, full of local info and a better source than the rangers on the roads in the national monument. It is a very quiet location, which I appreciate. There is a separate living room for guests downstairs with a pool table, TV and microwave... More

This bed & breakfast gets top marks! I have been there 3 times, and will return again. Catherine is the quintessential hostess, her knowledge of the Grand Staircase could not be contained in a book. Before arriving we had a night of looking for a campsite. Catherine directed us to Dixie National Forest for some one of the most beautiful,... More
