We ( 2 adults, teen-age son, 1 beagle, 1 mutt the size of a beagle)spent 8/23-25/2012 here. The rustic cabins are rustic but very quaint and clean. The woodburning stove keeps it plenty warm. My family just returned from Spirit Lake. The place is really beautiful and serene. And, I would go back -- but, I would camp rather than stay in the cabins. Our family of 5 spent 3 nights in Sitting Bull cabin, a quiet and cozy place. We just spent the weekend at the Spirit Lake Resort and oh my, what a place. Beautiful, rustic, well kept and just overall charming. My family and I used to go to Spirit Lake Lodge every summer in August and it is now one of my favorite places. Lots of good memories! I recommend it to everyone I meet. Great fishing too.
