The location is great. Very close to downtown. The amenities are decent. Free breakfast with pastries, cereal, bagels, juice, etc. The breakfast area is small but they also have a spot to eat outside if the weather is nice. Pool is nice. They could use some more lounge chairs though. The rooms were clean and the walls were sound proof.... More

We had four rooms here for Baylor 2012 graduation, congrats Class of 2012!! I had to change room reservations and length of stays twice before our stay and they were very accomadating and had everting correct when we checked in. Although we weren't allowed to check in early because rooms weren't ready, they accomodated us very well when we did... More

We had found this hotel on the a web site listing pet friendly hotels. We pulled into Waco late and needed to find a place to stay, but I liked the look of this hotel, off the main highway and near the Baylor. So we spent 20 minutes finding the place (helped along by a very nice young couple on... More

This, sadly, was the first time that TripAdvisor reviews lead me astray. Alas, I guess it has to happen sometime. I'm not sure what rooms others have been staying in (secret ones?) but the room I had was pretty awful. Dusty, musty, in dire need of a deep cleaning or better yet, gutting and remodeling. This was a keep-your-socks-on kind... More

We stayed in the Best Western Old Main Lodge for an overnighter for the football game against OU. Sic Em Bears! Anyway, this hotel, although dated, is not bad at all for the price. The room was convenient, clean, and in a safe location. They provided a small breakfast in the main building, which was not bad at all but... More

Only stayed one night, but it was a pleasurable experience. The staff was of great help, the room was clean and very roomy. We needed to leave a half hour earlier than the time that the breakfast would be ready, and the staff let us come in to eat before she had everything ready. We stayed at a total of... More

We stay in this hotel once a year for our college homecoming. We appreciate the dependability of the staff--always willing to work with you and meet needs. Beds are comfy. I like the fact that the bathroom has its own separate sink and mirror; then the dressing area right outside the bathroom has a sink and mirror two. Two can... More

Very nice! Location close to it all - Mayborn Museum, Texas Ranger Museum, Dr. Pepper Museum and the University. It was clean, the staff were very accommodating. Bathroom needed a little updating, but overall was great. I would stay again and again in Waco. My only issue, if I can even call it that, was the pool started at 3... More

We just stayed at the Best Western Old Main Lodge near Baylor. When I checked in I gave my credit card to the desk clerk to keep on file and paid for the room in cash. We checked in at approx 3 P.M and when we went to check out the next mourning at 11 A.M we were told that... More

After a very bad stay at a Best Western in San Antonio, we were glad to have a great experience with this hotel. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful. The attendant in the breakfast room went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. Check-in and out was very quick. We would... More
