We stayed here fin april 2011 for 3 nights, visiting the Guadalupe Mountains NP. Hotel was nice, simple but everything a hotelroom should be. Quiet rooms, except for the occasional train passing through the town. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff was friendly. The town is nothing special, just a stopover, nothing to do really.

This motel deserves a high rating. The room is well arranged, not the typical style of hotel. Temp easy to adjust. Good beds. Roomy bath area. Quite night. We called ahead on our drive to Florida from California to book a room here. This actually is a nice place to stay. Check in was good, the room was comfortable, and the beds were real good. It's also right in the middle of town, so you don't have to drive or walk far. Great place to stop. (I stayed here when it was a Best Western, BTW.)
