- Windsor Hotel Tyler

This Inn was my home away from home for 5 weekends. The owner provided me with the same room for every weekend. They give a AARP discount. Wired internet in every room and the wireless in the lobby can be accessed also from your room. Microwave and small fridge. A/C works great. Above average breakfast bar with those make your...

In a town full of overpriced chain hotels and motels, the Windsor stands out both in price and amenities. Not only was it more reasonably priced than similarly-rated properties, it had unique features we found delightful at this price point.
Our first-floor room was equipped with a king bed, 2 nightstands with wall-mounted lights above, loveseat, coffee table, desk and...

We love staying at this hotel when we need a day or two away from the world but have no room in the budget for a trip. It's fresh, clean and has some perks that make it special. Some of the rooms have been painted with soothing murals and two of the rooms have a good size jacuzzi right by...

We were pleasantly surprised to find above average accomodations at a bargain price. The rooms were nicely appointed and seemed as though they were recently redecorated. Furniture looked brand new. The king room has a sitting area with a sofa. The ceilings are painted like the sky - which is a very nice touch. I was there for a medical...

The room was of great size. The extra items were great also, not dirty or old like most. (micro, iron and coffee pot) The beds were perfect, very comfortable and great pillows. New carpet, I could actually take my shoes off. We stayed there 4 days, 3 nights and the cleaning service was exceptional. We had a smoking room and...

It IS a motel...and that means VERY busy late at night, not so during the day, you hear EVERYTHING outside in the morning, but that's because your door faces outside (of course you still hear EVERYTHING outside)...etc etc.
However, this place must have...

I found Scottish Inns and Suites using trip advisor, found the phone number with some difficulty, and called. The property gave up the Scottish Inns franchise on June 1, 2007, and is now called the Windsor Inn and Suites, which gave us some problems locating the property because we were looking for the Scottish Inns sign. It still has the...

We have stayed at Scottish Inn several times while visiting Tyler. The large rooms are comfortable and nice. The ceilings are painted with clouds. Our room was always cleaned promptly and efficiently. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave were great extras. The bed was better than most hotel beds. We always felt safe. Book early because it was obvious to us...

My brother and I stayed here. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. There were solid surfaces on the vanity and around the tub.
There was a lot of attention to detail in the construction of the building unlike most cookie cutter chain locations. (Sorry, I am a guy!)
They provided us with an above average continental...
