Be warned-this Hampton Inn has exterior halls, which is not the norm for the Hampton Inns. The room was clean-but I prefer to not stay in places that have outside doors as a single traveler. It just seemed like an old hotel. The breakfast was good. The bill does not get left under your door, so you have to actually... More

Stayed with the Hampton Inn hotel in Tyler for 1 night to do the Tyler Rose Half Marathon. Very friendly front desk personnel, decent location but be warned about exterior corridors.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn during Canton Trade Days last weekend (only 35 mi. away). It was very clean, breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to find...we would definitely stay here again.

This is a MOTEL (drive up, and there's your door, exposed to the outside), so this is a definite consideration for single travelers. The hotel itself is tolerable (minus the stains on one of our bath towels). It's the service that would deter me from staying a second time. If you had the misfortune of booking your room through any... More

This is not your typical Hampton Inn, which are usually decent enough. Maybe I ranked it lower because I dislike Tyler so much (and any town that doesn't sell wine), but this hotel is old and gross. The layout is bizarre, like a rat maze of outside-facing doors. Facing outside always sucks: it's less safe, the rooms are cold, people... More

I was driving across Texas and needed a place to sleep for the night, so I found this hotel on the website and booked it online. I was hauling a 18 foot trailer and pulled up to the front door around 1am upon that time I found out that the hotel was a MOTEL and it had no inside rooms... More

I requested a room opposite any busy street. They assigned me a room near the pool. The hotel does not have inside corridors so the door and windows are directly exposed the parking lot and streets. On a Saturday morning the garbage truck empties two dumpsters with all of the back up horns and associated banging at 4:42 a.m. Yes,... More

My wife and I stay at this hotel every time we visit her family inTyler, Texas. We were pleasently surprised to find the hotel compl, etely remodeled when we checked in on Christmas Eve, 2011. The decorator who planned the remodel deserves an award for design. This hotel can now be categorized as beautiful, although it is still in the basic... More

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the lobby is well appointed. The corridors are on the building's exterior, making it more like a motel. The room was very clean with all the amenities expected of Hampton Inns. Good location with lots of restaurants and shopping close. Overall a real value.
