Motorcycle rider friendly, Laid back staff, basic functional rooms, great bar! Stay here if a basic night stay is what you're looking for. The restaraunt/bar is great but opens a bit late in the morning. Viva Terlingua!

Nice people, cold beer, good patio. Rooms were fairly clean. Showers a little scary, bed was terrible. Blind fell down from the window and the ar conditioner did not cool adequately. Good location to ghost town and Big Bend.

Just came back from visiting Big Bend for the first time. We stayed at El Dorado. We had a great time. We are coming back. If you are a high maintenance person, I suggest you visit San Francisco or New York. I love West Texas and Chihuahua. Viva Pancho Villa!!!!!!

I am agreement with most of the posts. If you don't like simple then you need to keep moving.
