The Wild Horse Station was wonderful. For 3 nights we had a trailer, nestled into the mountainside with a fully stocked kitchen and living room. The bed was one of the best I have slept on in a motel and the porch at night with the stary sky was great to have. The lady who runs the place is also... More

We recently stayed in Unit #2 for several days while visiting BBNP. On the positive side, the location was beautiful, the units are high up with great views in a quiet setting and fully equipped kitchen. I wanted to like the place, but the unit was quite rundown and dirty, primarily the floor looked like it had not been cleaned... More

I will admit when we saw it on-line, we pictured a dusty trailer with an old brown couch full of scorpions on the porch. Instead, we enjoyed an immaculate place to launch all of our adventures in the Big Bend/Terlingua area. The view is lovely and the stargazing was incredible. The owner is also just a lovely person. We would... More

Loved this place. This is the place to stay. It's quiet, secluded, you have a place to start a fire and look at a million stars at night and mountains are all around you to enjoy with your morning coffee. The you might get a television station, but you won't need it, no phone service, and you don't want it,... More

Our stay was wonderful and the house on the ridge was great. The house came with every thing you could want. The mattress were out of this world. Slept like a baby. We are looking forward to our stay next year. But remember don't tell anyone about Louise and her outstanding place. Carole and Marc More

We chose WIldhorse, when the park accommodations proved full in the busy weeks near Spring Break/Easter. As it turns out, we were much happier to be here - in what felt like our own cabin in the wilderness, with very nice views and open space. We stayed in Cabin #1, which faces southwest, looking over the Christmas mountains from its... More

i agree with the previous reviews- the value and cleanliness of the trailers was excellent. the view from the front porch is wonderful and looking at the stars at night was very special for a city-dweller like me!!! the trailers were very clean, quiet and spacious. full kitchen, toaster, microwave, satelite tv, etc. the owner was very nice too. it's... Wild Horse station is fantastic with adorable little trailers with everything you need - bed, bath, kitchen and living room - too cute! We did all of our own cooking right there and hiked up into the desert behind the Station. Price is great, views are beautiful and the stars ... we went outside every morning at 5:00 to drink...
