This hotel is conveniently located to the major retail areas in Temple. It's clean and the reception staff was very friendly. The breakfast, however, was not so good - stale bagels and eggs that tasted "funny." The bed and shower were great.

The property is a little old but well kept as far as I experienced. The indoor pool was well attended. The breakfrast of hot scrambled eggs, sausage and a variety of rolls/bagels coffee and juice suited me. There should be no complaints from any age. The staff were attentive and interested in my needs. I had a very clean room... More

We chose this hotel because it is very close to the Scott & White hospital, although you would probably not walk to the hospital. (You'd have to cross some busy, major roads.) Still, it was easy to park both here and at the hospital. We arrived after midnight, and the power was out in this section of the city! Fortunately,... More

This is a nice Fairfield. Towels while the smaller ones you'd expect were clean and not very worn. Clean rooms. attentive service. Breakfast plentiful. Only suggestion is halls could have benefitted from vacuuming. Definitely a solid place to stay that I would recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located near the massive Scott and White Hospital complex. Ample parking lot, clean rooms and friendly staff. This is an older facility that could use some more attention to the property, but after saying this I would stay here again.

The price was very fair - $81 for a K room w/ mx & minifrig. The breakfast was very good with JImmy Deans, fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, etc.. Our room could have had cleanliness up a couple notches easily. The stainless tissue and TP holders were untouched and had stains, the tub area caulking was blackening, rust on the metal... More

If you find yourself in Temple, TX, the Fairfield is a good value for those seeking a nice, basic hotel for the night. The hot cookies upon arrival were a nice touch and the staff was very accommodating when we asked to switch to a king room. The hot breakfast is another plus, and it's very convenient to the hospital,... More

My mother, sister and I spent parts of three weeks in Temple, Texas from Sept. 22 until Oct. 14, 2011 while my dad underwent major surgery and spent two weeks in the ICU at the nearby Scott and White Regional Hospital. During most of the stay we were at another hotel, but in an effort to save money I spent... More

Very dated hotel for a fairfield inn. was a little disappointed at the old age of the furnishings, and the bathroom showed the most wear and tear, not a bad stay but not to fair fields standards, Breakfast was good and plenty of food available
