I chose this hotel because we got into town late and could not check into our room at the La Quinta until the next day. To be honest, I've never thought of Travelodges as an ideal place to stay. My experiences with them have been cheap and rundown. And honeslty I just booked this one because it was the only place on the Island I could find for under $100 a night. I was surprised. Good staff. Large, comfortable rooms. Hotel very clean, staff very helpful - Breakfast was nice but after 5 days - cereal, muffin and waffles get old - could use some fruit and more variety - Texas shaped waffles were so cute.. This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed! 1. It has very bad smell. 2. The sheets are very dirty and it looks like they never changed those. 3. The room is very moist and I can feel the bed is wet. 4. They provide free breakfast, but it's very limited and the only thing that tastes good... more
My husband and I have stayed many times at this Travelodge. We book there when we take our elderly Beagle with us on fishing/kayaking trips. Don't believe everything you read this hotel is great.Atfer spending hours reading several reviews on hotels i was very nervious about what the condition of the romm would be.I was very surprised to find a very large super clean room.The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.We were able to check in early and quickly with no problems.beds are... more

Nice, clean and a wonderful experience! Did not want to leave. Was treated like a king when I needed something. Felt like I got much more for my money than any other place I have ever stayed. Travelodge's Best Fair Guarantee is terrible. They can wait up to 24 hours before they verify the rate, and will deny you the difference even if provided with links to the lower rate.
